1. It is mainly used as dispersing agent and fillers in disperse dyes and VAT dyes. Also can be used as a dispersant in the manufacture of color lake.

2.In printing and dyeing industry,it is mainly used for VAT dye suspension pad dyeing, stable acid dyeing and dispersion, soluble VAT dye dyeing.

3.In rubber industry, it can be used as emulsion stabilizer; in leather industry,can be used

as auxiliary tanning agent.

4.As a strong water reducing agent, to shorten the construction period, save cement, water and increase the strength of cement.

 

(1)Used as a dispersing agent or filling agent for disperse dyes and VAT dyes: The usage is 0.5-3 times of VAT dye or 1.5-2 times of disperse dye, can leave some as a filler to add in the dye commercialized.

(2)Dyeing in VAT dyes: ①Suspension pad dyeing process: in pad dyeing bath--generally add 3-5 g/L; in the reduction bath--generally add 15-20 g/L ,②Cryptochromic acid process: the usage is 2-3 g/L.

(3)Disperse dye dyeing:in  polyester high temperature and high pressure dyeing,it can generally add 0.5-1.5g/L in the dyeing bath.

(4)Ice dye dyeing: the amount of chromophenol base bath is generally 2-5 g/L, the amount of color bath is generally 0.5-2 g/L.
